I grew up in Mankato, MN, graduating from Mankato High School in 1970.  After a three year enlistment in the U.S. Army, I returned to Mankato, graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1980.

After working in the corporate world for 30 years with several insurance and pharmacy benefit management companies, I retired from the corporate environment in 2008 and established my art studio in Stone Lake, WI. 

I grew up in a very artistic family and historically, most of my work consisted of paintings in acrylics.  However in recent years, I’ve dedicated my time to finding ways to express myself through my art, enjoying the process of discovering new mediums.  The majority of my large sculptures are on display in a small outdoor sculpture park on the wooded, two acre property that surrounds my studio.  I also continue to create new mixed media wall pieces, small mixed media sculptures, and paintings in acrylics.
